New Year

Wow! Is it already the new year? I can not wait to continue blogging with you. Yay! In the next year I will be posting about what I am doing and more craft ideas, and fun games. Massachusetts

Last week after I came home from dance my mom had a surprise for me and told me that I was going to Massachusetts to visit my cousins that moved there latter this year. My cousins have a cat and they left her with their old neighbors and we went to go pick her up.  We stayed the night a my mom's friends mom's house over the night that we were still in Texas. Her house is beautiful! My mom and I were the only ones out of our hole family that went. We talked together on her back porch after we had a light dinner. Then before she got home we went to the guest room a went to sleep at about 9:30 pm. The next morning we woke up at 5 am to go catch are plane. That day was my first day on a air plane. It was amazing! I sat in a window seat and it was so cool. When we landed my cousins were there to meat me. I was so excited to see them after such a long time being away from each other. That weekend it snowed we made three tiny snow men, had a snow ball fight, made a cranberry wreath, and played a lot inside and out. I loved my surprise visit to Massachusetts.

Nutcracker

The Nutcracker is about a girl named Clara who receives a nutcracker from her god father at one of her family's parties. Her mischievous little brother Fritz brakes it. Later that night she falls into a deep sleep and she wakes up and realizes that she has shrunk and her nutcracker turns the size she is and he battles the rat king. And turns into a real person. They then go to the land of sweats and have the best time of each of their lives. Alright that's all I can tell you will have to go see it to learn the rest.

Kisses from Katie

Kisses from Katie is non-fiction a book about a girl that wants to do to Uganda, Africa when she is 18. The summer after high school her and her mom go to Uganda a week together. That Turns into a hole year. One year latter her father makes her go to college by then she had adopted 9 girls. Eventually after about 2 years she becomes a mother of 13. Christmas decorations

I love when we decorate for Christmas. My favorite decorations are: The Christmas tree,The advent calender, The nativity scene, and the bear that reads "The Night Before Christmas". What is your favorite Christmas decoration?

steps:

1. paint a canvas any color you want
2. after it dries spread glue in any shape you want
3. in the color(s) you chose sprinkle glitter (if you want multiple colors do one color at a time
4. wait for the glue to dry with the glitter on it
5. blow of the extra glitter ( if you want plow it into a pan)
6. hang it up or it makes a great present

Thanksgiving

Turkey craft

What you need:
small planting pot
little fabric leaves
paint
craft sticks
cardboard
seizers
an adult
hot glue
google eyes

1. Cut the cardboard into a heart
2.  Paint the cardboard
3. hot glue the cardboard to the pot
4. paint the craft stick a light brown
5. glue the eyes on the craft stick
6. hot glue the craft stick to the pot
7. glue the leaves on the opposite side of the pot than the head
8. let it dry
9. add your own accessories if you want

Sophie

Sophie is my super sweet very old black lab. She is fourteen years old and still loves to play. A few of the many things I love about Sophie are: she loves to play with kids and adults, she will play ball with you any time of the day(even when it interrupts her nap time), and she loves when you pet her.

winter and hope

You might know these bottle nose dolphins for the movies dolphin tale 1 and 2. Winter was rescued at only three months old with a crab trap around her tail costing lose of  circulation to the end of her tail. Winter was one of very few that survive being tangled in a crab trap. Winter will unfortunately never be able to go back into the wild because of  the lose of her tail. Hope was a 2-3 month old bottle nose dolphin found close to the place where Winter was found. But 5 years and one month later. Hope will never be able to go home because she was separated from her mother at such a young age. Winter and hope have been paired and have enjoyed the time they have had together as best friends.

1. go to a craft store near you and buy any size canvas
2. paint the canvas any color in this one the background it gray
3. depending on the color of your background use a paint pen and write any message you want
4. If you want to and glitter to any key words
5. attach a ribbon to hang it up with
6. and you have a awesome canvas

Painted ornaments

#1 Painted ornaments for Christmas:
What you need:
1. glass ornaments from Hobby Lobby
2. acrylic paints
3.glitter
Steps
#1 open the top of the ornament
#2 poor the paint colors you want into the ornament ball (or if you are doing it with little kids just paint of the outside)
#3 poor the glitter in (or care fully sprinkle it on the outside) this is optional
#4 let it dry and hang it on the tree for a unique ornament

craft ideas for the hollidays

Idea #1 felt turkey
1:go to hobby lobby ( or any store in your area) and buy felt
2:cut out the felt in the shape of a turkey, pilgrims, or any thing that has to do with thanks giving ( if you want to you can use it for any other Holliday)
3: paint the felt in the Holliday colors you want
4:let the paint dry add stickers if you want and you have a Holliday decoration!

Idea #2 pilgrim men
1:buy craft sticks
2:chose the colors of paint you want
3:be careful and paint the craft sticks like pilgrim men
4: wait for them to dry and they are super fun to play with and are a good window sill decoration

nutcracker

The Nutcracker is coming up! If you don't already know the Nutcracker is about a girl who gets a nutcracker for Christmas. Clara has a dream that she shrinks and the nutcracker comes alive. it is a fascinating story. I was in the nutcracker for three years but this year I will not be in it. You should go see it. It is absolutely beautiful.

national novel writing month

Hi, I am so exited! It is novel writing month!!! My novel takes place in the summer at a ranch in the Rocky Mountains. There are two girls named Amanda and Sarah they are visiting for the summer. One of the horses has a colt. Are you doing a novel?

November

Wow, is it really November all ready. Time really does fly. There are a lot of things happening this month like national novel writing month, and thanksgiving. First thing nanowrimo starts on November 1st. I am extremely nervous! But I love thanksgiving. This year my family is hosing it. I can not wait!

Enchanted Rock

This is what I think of Enchanted rock after I went. Enchanted rock is really like a huge rock. It is all granite! When you are at the top you can see for miles. There is so many people that go there they have to close it early. Thankfully we got there just in time. The hike was not very hard but there was a few slippery parts but the reward at the end was worth it. There is also a cave that you can go in just be careful that you don't fall through the cracks. I loved our trip to Enchanted rock. 

This Weekend

This weekend I am going camping! Our camp site is close to the water. It is going to be beautiful! We are also going to climb Enchanted rock. Enchanted rock is a huge rock that sticking out of the ground. I am so exited! We are leaving later today after my dad comes home. My brothers and sister are so exited they are running around the house right now. I have only been camping three times. I am so exited!

Pizza

Hi this is one of my post that is supper random. We all love pizza there are so many different toppings. There are cheese, pepperoni, ham, olive, veggie, and the list goes on and on. My favorite type of pizza is cheese. I love cheese and any thing that has cheese. What is your favorite?

Tyler Rose festival

This weekend I am going to the Tyler rose festival.  It is my first time  so I will make a post about it. I heard that there are a lot of activities that are very fun. When I go to Tyler I will also see my grand  parents too. Do you remember my post about grand parents? Well it was along time ago but this grand mother is the one who bakes bread. I will let her know that you have ideas. I am so exited that I will be going this year!

dance

I love to dance. I dance five and a half hours a week. Some times I dance six and a half hours a week because I have seminars. I think dance is a way to express your self. I dance because I want to be professional. I'm getting closer because I'm on point. But it is hard     because you have to be perfect. some times you have to dance even when its hard. even when you are all alone and it is hard. you might just have to be different. i go to a different studio than my friends and its okay. 

puppies

Puppies are so so so so so cute! There are so many movies about dogs. Dogs are a big part of my life. I really want a puppy. My favorite breed of dogs is Poodles. What is yours? 

super heroes

Superman,Batman,Spider man and more. My brother loves them all. He wears all of his costumes at once. It is so cute. It is so fun watching him he just turned 5. He is being batman for Halloween. It is so cute!

Grand Parents

Hi again it is me. This week my grandmother is in town. I love it when she comes. My dad is helping my other grandmother. My dads mom likes to cook. she is really good at making bread. She makes strawberry bread and peach bread. Let me know if you have ideas  I will be seeing her soon so I will make sure she knows.

october

Happy October! This month we have Halloween which means candy! But we still have school which is not so fun. Some people might go to see family or that might wait till thanksgiving. I can't believe it two special days in about 2 months! I would love it if you could comment with some things you do during Halloween. I stay behind and pass out candy. Sometimes I go to my grandparents house.
